How very strange?
I look forward to seeing him take his "beloved" Swindon Town to the dizzy heights and hearing more of his views on the US economy!

He seems a bit mad, he's written the 'Swindon Town Gazette' here:

I particularly like the mention of the 6-0 victory over Scunthorpe United in the FIFA Champions League.

Going back there used to be a John Green, who was a bit of a Town fan...he was a bit mad as well, and consequently a bit scary, managed to get himself razored at Wembley in 69, so the facial scar didn't improve his looks. This Green turned his venom into representing the Worker's Revolutionary Party in Swindon, a political niche, even when many, unlike today were on the left.  Green's story of how he shagged Swindon's leading female NF supporter, a particular favourite...who knows it might have even been true.

Heard there's a piece and interview with John Green about this tomorrow on BBC Wiltshire at half time.
