Any idea how many we will be taking up to this just seen vale took over 800 to oxford Saturday so hopefully we could take as many as that?

We usually take nearing that amount up there so I would be a bit disappointed if we didnt take that many if not nearer 1,000 in all honesty.

They do have a Bargain Booze though. We stopped in for some tinnies on the way back, Fred bought a bottle of red wine and necked the lot straight from the bottle on the drive back.

Be great to see 800+ town fans there....big time of the season coming up, so lets show the lads our support!

We've already sold AFC Dons out 700 tix, rovers should sell out as 300+ gone already...good numbers and good support!

The Best in the League IMO  Cheesy

Plymouth is easy to get to from Swindon.
I reckon we will take 582 (I'd say 583 but I will deduct one because I expect Crispy will be thrown out again)

I get the feeling that we will not take up more than 500. It's a shit to get to on the train from Swindon and there isn't much in way of decent pubs near the ground now.

The train station is in Shelton by the Uni, which is an even bigger dump than Berslam. There used to be some alright uni pubs there back in the day. When you've got to include taxis around the city from the train station to boozers and the ground it all becomes a bit expensive, so I'm just going to drive up.

I think to call Stokies neanderthals is a bit harsh, especially as we're not exactly from the most cosmopolitan of towns. Actually I'd go as far as to say Swindon is full of mongs and is completely soulless, but I'm still proud to support the team, but I'm not proud to be from the town though.
Stoke struggles with high unemployment rates, which were never helped by the closing of a lot of the potteries. Which has always made it an easy target for right wing parties to win votes with frustrated locals.

But at least they're a passionate bunch. Can't say there is a louder ground to go to than the Britannia these days.
