Is it best to drink in Stoke and then bus it to the ground or are there any decent pubs near Vale Park? I saw the Vine was mentioned on the football guide. Are Town fans meeting there? PM me if it's best not to advertise it to the Vale yoof!

Cheers. Will stick to the centre and then bus it near kick off. Anyone know what the city centre is like? Good pubs and those best to avoid?

I'm sure our coach got bricked in Burslem back in the early 90s.

Hanley is the City Centre, standard city centre boozers there or Stoke centre, which is further south but has some more studenty places.
Burslem is indeed a shit hole.

When I went to the last match of the season way back at Stoke (we lost 4-1, O'Halloran scored) we got lost and were heading in the wrong direction. Some local punter spotted my town shirt and gave us a lift to the ground. Apparently we weren't safe the way we were going!
