Just got in from karate and the last 10 mins of this match is amongst the best football seen anywhere this season. The Valencia 'keeper pulled off one of the best saves ever seen from a Torres header, then about two others in quick succession, then Valencia nearly scored, now Chelsea have scored. Put it on if you're not already watching.

I try not to listen to the commentators too much. Is there actually a good commentator? At least with commentators you can concentrate on the game and forget them, pundits hog the screen and I'm struggling to think of an exception when calling them a complete bunch of cunts. Like Brian Clough said, just show the football and let us make our own minds up.

Will have to get Grand Designs on 4od, love that show, but we don't have Sky Sports so I take any opportunity to watch live football on TV.

I enjoyed that game. Shame the ref didn't send Mata off at the final whistle though, I'm already developing a dislike towards Villas Boas

True, but then it might end up being Peter Drury replacing him and I don't know of a commentator I dislike more.

Surely in this day and age there must be a way or option to remove the commentators and just have the crowd noise. Occasionally you might find that a commentator or summariser has something interesting to say, but more often then not it is just cliche's.

Gay.

Its an extremely heretosexual environment, though I think the black belt lady might be gay.

Hang on though, Aikido Te does rhyme with gay.

David Pleat = Twat.

Spurs 3rd goal tonight he said "Santos smashed it in with his first touch"    even my alcohol glazed eyes saw him have a great first touch then bang it in with his second

Fuck that game.  Barcelona's 8-0 demolition of Osasuna was the best display I have ever seen.

I might be wrong, and I don't mean to make you look like a tool but I am pretty sure that was Graham Taylor and not David Pleat.

It was Graham Taylor, although he's just as bad as Pleat.
