I thought we had the game well and truly killed within 25 mins hence why the fans rested on their laurels... Shhhhhhhhhhhhh! Barnet were one of the poorest sides I can recall pitching up at the CG so it was great to see us put them to the sword emphatically. Ritchie was utterly sublime today and I didn't blame him for the odd bout of greed given he was on a hat-trick. Thought Mehdi Kerouche was top drawer both up front and when deployed wide right. Special mention for Phil Smith who played like a man with a point to prove. Nice to also see Magera back in action albeit it very rusty. A good weekend to be a Town fan. !!!!

Wouldn't surprise me if Ritchie is kept here because of the "Di canio factor"
I'd rather be playing for him and winning this shite league than not and playing at the foot of a league above..
Also I after the last 2 weeks i've realised just how good Gary Rose & the official club twitter is. I've been in the SU watching soccer saturday but their tweets have kept me in the loop.
Also we won. YAY!

Just seen the highlights and what a ball from Comazzi for Ritche's second. All top finishes for our goals although Medhi's goal was seemingly thrown into the net by their keeper.

Did everyone else see the size of Barnet's 'Fitness Coach'? Fuck me sideways, what a fat bastard! How can players take the bloke seriously when it's obvious he'd get out of breath running a bath!
Easiest win we'll ever get in the league yesterday and yes, it was pretty boring towards the end of the game, looked more like a practice match!

Easy BTW 4-0
Perhaps I should enter the prediction league? And bring my lucky charm wife more often. She is after all better looking than my mate and I could have easily kissed her four times yesterday. Have to keep myself in check for the Hereford game.......

Haha, he was quality. Thought we played well, Barnet were awful and we could have easily had a few more goals. Not too much more to say really, a good win, and hopefully we can get a good run going. Just need to start picking up a few wins away from home.

This is an excerpt from the match day article on the Barnet site...........
"Kerrouche the Swindon striker seemed to have problems with the wind at the County Ground. Like a leaf from a tree he fluttered to the ground on numerous occasions, apparently unaware that association football is a contact sport."
.......Bitter much?

Hahaha amazing. If only Lawrie Sanchez cared about Barnet F.C. as much as the person who wrote that.

He's got a certain charm in his writing style too, Mehdi Kerrouche = poetry in motion!

I enjoyed it. All the positives have been said.
Never have I witnessed an easier win watching Swindon or anyone else. Barnet were atrocious and we were really good at times.
Lawrie Sanchez sat throughout the game with his arms folded probably dreaming of his days at Northern Ireland. There's no way that his team talk could have been affective as they were stood in the tunnel a good couple of minutes before coming on to the pitch (which was also significantly earlier than Town).
Other than Ricky Holmes coming on for them I didn't see any other Barnet substitute warm up other than their half-time punt the ball into an open net from 10 yards out.
... and back to exile I go.

Like this from a Barnet Forum Everyone who was at Swindon today saw what real passion from a manager looks like. How Sanchez could have sat there watching Di Canio and not felt utter embarassment at his own inactivity is totally beyond me.

I thought he might just have been the sub goalkeeper!!!!! Would have had trouble getting round him!! Did anybody see Devera give him his Town shirt at the end of the game?

Loved the way that Barnet, after starting in a 442 that mirrored ours, went to a 451 with seemingly no plan beyond keeping the scored down. Once we'd worked out to double mark 22 at the back post as all their set pieces went there they had nothing else. Well, except to get the ball to Marshall and we could all work out how that was going to go - most over the stand.

The players came in the pub last night and I was on VIP bar. Ferry is a fucking legend, loves a drink. We had a Jagerbomb together and I told him that I love him a little bit. Alan Connell is funny. I was surprised by how many of the new lot weren't drinking at all. Ferry was the only one who was smashed.
Kerroooooshhh hasn't gotten used to English money yet, I told him it was me that started the On Fire chant and he loved it. So fuck you Samdy hahahah
