Thinking back to 1995/96, our campaign that year was full of performances like that.  Routine wins.  Three points, & move on to next week.  We have to keep this going.  4 wins from 5 is a decent run.

Target #1 is now restoring our traditional league superiority over Oxford.  (Just one point in it now.)  And then we take this division apart.  We should fear no-one.

But equally being Swindon I would not be surprised if we lost to Macclesfield next week - for as long as I have followe town they have lost games that should be won easily!

Very tight at the top.  I think we could be top 3 with 3 wins from the next 4. I see we're joint 2nd with Gillingham on goal difference behind Morecambe.

Cuthbert's move to Leyton Orient looking more & more inspired.  Not even the end of September and they're practically dead & buried already.

I'm probably being a bit thick here, but what are you talking about??

You are, of course, completely right.

21 years on and I should know better.  I'll have a lie down now.

We have a goal difference of +7, as have the Gills.  No one betters that other than Morecambe (on +13).

That was boringly easy haha.

It was boring but I'd settle for another 30 odd games like that. I think most of the crowd fell asleep half way through the second half, we were that dominant (without much goal mouth action).

Now we have to sort out our away form. I mean, if Plymouth can beat Macclesfield..... Cool

Oh absolutely! I was just coming back to say that I would take that all season long Cheesy

Thought everyone played well after the first 10 minutes, Comazzi had a couple of funny moments in either half, Devera was solid, Kennedy was a beast at set pieces, Ritchie and Caddis were their usual troublesome selves, Raffa had another good game on the left, Kerrouche was his usual self, Ferry and J Smith were hustle and bustle, kept it nice and calm, got back and defended in the box well also. Connell worked hard without getting anything clear cut infront of goal.

Decent lads, decent.

How can winning 4-0 be boring as I heard some say. The team is begining to take shape but would always play Flint at this level. Smith now has to have a decent run in goal even if does make occasional gaffs.....I heard Di Canio on the radio afterwards saying he is lookking for another striker....dont really understand that.
Barnet very poor and they are going to struggle this season, without doubt...4 goals can`t remember the last time that happened...maybe someone will remind me.

Things are coming together nicely!...lets hope we can take it into the next 4/5 games and see where we are at the end of October!

Great performance today, first 5 mins a bit shakey but well done to the lads I felt for the rest of the game we passed the ball, knew our strengths and took our opportunities!

4-0 onto Macclesfield...COYR!!!

I'll be honest, I thought we played OK in the first half but we were excellent going forward and deadly with our finishing. I think we played better against the Pox and Rotherham. This is a good sign. Nice to see their players having a go at each other, and how come they were back on the pitch so soon after half time, I went to get a drink and they were there when I got back.

Second half we totally dominated. The game was dead an buried but we tried to go forward.

Still think the defence looks a little shaky though!

Nice work STFC, nice work.

The last 20 minutes were boring, but we're all happy with the performance and result.
