Much tougher game than a lot of people expect today.
Barnet have gone to Pompey and won 1-0 in the LC 1st round, won 1-0 away at Morecambe who beat Creepy Crawley 6-0, drew away at Rotherham (then leaders), won 3-1 away at Colchester in the JPT.
A better team on the road than at home.
I am going for a 1-1 draw with a 7,248 crowd with barely 200 from Barnet.
Words of wisdom here....if we are to do something this season, then we need to get on a long unbeaten run. If it's going to happen today will be a pretty good indicator...as JJ says it's going to be difficult.

Seeing as my predictions have been 100% wrong so far, I'll go for 0-2

A tight, dull 1-0 win i think and i'll be happy with that.
As mentioned now we to string some results together, performances are secondary to results

I fully agree with that, dull or not we need results, especially at home, win your home games and get a few wins/draws away from home and you will get promoted, we did it that way under Sturrock, not overly pretty to watch but scrape out wins by one goal and I will be happy witht hat, not sure all the Town fans would be the same though.

Think this will be harder than alot think, have a lot of dangerous players in attack, but think we will win about 2-0

6-0 to us.
I'm mixing it up by sitting with the stiffs in the Arkells as the old man has gone VIP today. I should probably leave soon.

If you are in the Arkells then dont forget to take the zimmer frame or at worst a walking stick to wave at the referee, that seems the norm up there!

I'm already looking suitably unkempt and smell faintly of tobacco. I'll remember to bring a stick. It sounds as if Magera will be on the bench then so Flint/Comazzi in for McCormack sounds like the only change. I maintain my 6-0 prediction

Oi I sit in the Arkells and don't fit that description, although the little group of old boys who sit in the row behind me certainly do We ha :Dven't drawn a game yet, so I've a feeling we might today 2-2.

Swindon Town: Smith P; Caddis (capt), Devera, Comazzi, Kennedy; Ritchie, Ferry, Smith J, De Vita; Connell, Kerrouche
Subs: Lanzano (GK), Abdulla, Flint, Magera, Storey
Smith returns, no start for Flint ??!!
No wingers in the squad either.

Yeah quite a narrow side, surprised by Flint not starting though.
