Don't like these type of comments from Paolo. Poor man management and isn't going to do the players confidence and morale any good openly criticising them.

it works both ways though doesn't it? They're grown men, they don't need telling how great they are every 5 minutes, they need a kick up the backside to press on, if there position is in jeopardy it should inspire them, it certainly would for me in a work situation, it would just make me work harder.

Can never work out whats going on in the STFC camp.
After the 3 wins on the bounce, Alan Connell said it was great place to be at the moment and he was loving it here. Now Paolo comes out and says we need some new strikers because our's are crap basically !
Surely this will kill Kerrouche and Connell's confidence completely ??

I have a feeling Di Canio thinks he is motivating players by making sure their places are never guaranteed.
Take Gabilondo as an example - he was flavour of the month after his Oxford cameo and the City game, but one average performance and he's nowhere to be seen.
He's seems to want to keep everyone on their toes, but there is a fine balance to be struck between making them fight for the shirt and making them think less of themselves as players.
