The guy in question had a harelip looked worser for wear which is no excuse but would not shut up until many of us told him too, shouting about Lanzano being useless, really laying on the italian racial slur which attacks my heritage. Deserved to be lamped. Anyone know what the trouble at the back was, seems a certain someone with glasses always attracts trouble perhaps was his old man though today?
At the same time that the twat who was abusing Lanzano was at it another complete wanker (Phil Mitchell lookalike with a croaky voice) starting moaning and groaning and got into an argument with another punter about the relative merits of Smith & Lanzano. Not 100% sure but the subsequent ruck may have been as a result of this. Phil Mitchell was completly in the wrong. An absolute moron! |

To be honest with you all types of negative national stereotype name calling is wrong, however you see it on here most days. As an example the other day some stupid prick was making some retarted anti 'jock' statement, doesn't bother me just highlights the particular board member's lack of intelligence, racism/general being a bigot tends to do that. Usually the person dishing out the abuse justifies it in some 'it's just a joke' how can jock/mick/paki/wop be offensive kind of way?
Go up to Glasgow and call someone a fucking jock and see if the person you say it to takes offence, likewise with an asian you call a 'paki' or italian a 'wop'.

And that is the key. It's not what is said but how it is said. I could call my mate a 'stupid jock cunt' down the pub and he will laugh it off because he knows its bollocks and there's no malice. Some one else could say exactly the same words in a different situation and those words could take on a whole new meaning. |

Ashbury I believe. I had the dubious privilege of going to court with him at Newport one season. We went on the piss straight after and could very easily have got banged up again after one or two altercations with the locals. |
