Maybe we could bring back Antoine Van Der Linden could do a job for us up front whilst Paolo searching for this target man?

Absolutely murdered them for 25 minutes they were chasing shadows, then as soon as they scored against the run of play we stopped doing all the good things.
Second half was awfull and I left with 5 to go,  I would say thepossesion was 60/40 in our favour very frustrating why was connel subbed? He was causing problems first half

Another thing is that we've already played 6 of the top 7....and seen nothing that is too frightening, we need to bounce abck v Barnet.

Been on the sherbets Reg?

Very encouraging stuff.

if we'd have made the most of our dominance up to them scoring we'd have been out of sight, played some really good stuff and they scored with their first chance.

2nd half starts and the mistake comes but we really should have put the game to bed long before then.  some twat behind me revelling in the fact that he 'said he would cost us goals from the first time he saw him' - fucking shock horror, L2 keeper makes mistake.

there were a few around us who did nothing but moan all game, we don't deserve a fucking leagu club if some of our 'fans' are anything to go by.  apparently you don't shoot when you are losing and passing the ball to other swindon players is unacceptable too.  mindless wankers

Basically that sentance sums up PDC's after match interview KT

Anyone who thought we were going to go to a team currently sitting 4th in the league and have a day in the sunshine without any troubles need to get a grip

And you are right, a growing number of our fans are turning into complete wankers

9/12 points and 3/6 from two tricky away games. An excellent return.

As said, its how we deal with the next bunch of games that counts. We'll then now if the three wins were a false Dawn,  or whether the team has indeed turned the corner. I'm still optimistic it's the latter.

yeah, it would have been perfectly acceptable to have drawn the last two but a win and a loss is awfull.  surely 3 points is better than 2?  people are idiots

Just got back from the game. Was a great day out, but the footballing side was not so great. First 20 minutes was like watching Brazil vs the Faroe Islands and we literaly had about 8 very good chances and didnt take advantage of them. Then the sucker punch was dealt when they scored against the run of play, after then we went from being Brazil to being San Marino. Had plenty of the possession but could barely find a man and just didn't look a threat. Should of kept Connell on as he looked the most dangerous of the front two.
Then we come to Lanzano... Still cant believe what he did, will definitely appear on Johnny Vaughan hilarious goalmouth moments at Christmas.
After the game too there was a massive spat between Paolo and a few of our fans by the players tunnel, couldnt quite see all of it, but looked like they dealt a fair share of abuse out and Paolo didnt react all too well to it. Was un-needed abuse to be honest, are people forgetting our 3 win streak ?

Just back from the game.  We were all over them for the first 25 minutes but when you dont score you just know that the opposition are going to break away and score - exactly what happened.  After that we started lumping long balls and playing typical L2 football instead of keeping are neat passing game.

It didnt really happen for the forwards today, we still need an old fashioned centre forward in my view.  Its a real shame that Leon Clarke has gone as I think he would have done well.

Im not too dispondant though, we're still moving in the right direction.

Off for a few beers
