Really does seem to be a very unpleasant man.

Not only did he admit on the radio before the season started that he only went to Barnet as he didn't get any better offers, but now he is stabbing Worthington in the back and touting for the job again.

Most of Lawrie Sanchez's interviews can be boiled down to: "Lawrie Sanchez", says Lawrie Sanchez.

Worthington should go, says Sanchez =  Sanchez, says Sanchez

Swindon need more stability, says Sanchez =  Sanchez, says Sanchez

Barnet need guile and an old head, says Sanchez =  Sanchez, says Sanchez

Does anyone else not find it amusing that the Barnet manager feels he is entitled to comment on the ability of an international manager.  I know he managed NI, but that aside he did an atrocious job at Fulham and nearly got them relegated.  They only stayed up because of their epic form after he left.

He's a L2 manager at best and needs to realise that and keep his gob shut....

I'm not sure that a league 2 manager and the NI manager positions are as far apart as you seem to think.  Would Nigel Worthington be any higher in the league pyramid?  This is the Northern Ireland manager we are talking about, not the Italy manager.

Once upon a time a spirited but very limited player who got lucky.

Now a poisonous but dim manager who is the only one who doesn't realise he is a fourth division manager (and punching well above his weight at that level).

It was Sanchez's comments about Swindon goalscorer Gary Alexander that had home Manager Andy King seething.

Sanchez said "It doesn't help when you conceed a goal in the first minute. You feel you are chasing the game and to then to concede a second goal - our defence has been our strength this season. For Alexander to score two goals, who with all due respect is a Third Division forward, is poor...."

King backfired the comments by saying "What right does he have to talk about my players? The comments were cutting and there was no need to make them. He must be doing something right, I've had four inquiries about him in the last four weeks."

He's at it again http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-16154846

So he never had any 'formal' contact with the IFA and he never 'formally' applied for the job - so I assume that we can conclue that the Lawrie Sanchez has been touting Lawrie Sanchez for the job but the IFA  have confirmed that they are not interested.

I also like the quote that he is fully commited to Barnet till the end of the season - thats a relief for them.

I just dislike the guy - and I would love it (in a Keegan style) if we can put them out of the Paint Pot Tin trophy.

I'm no fan of Sanchez but I make him exactly right on the Alexander comments.

And your point?....Alexander would have done a lot more but for injuries......seeing he is manager of fucking Barnet i would take his comments with a large pinch of salt.....one of the over rated brigade and has now been found out.
