13.54pm: Not much action at the County Ground as yet, but the Advertiser understands Newport County have asked about taking Jordan Pavett on loan.

That could be a good move for him, not getting a sniff of the first team here and Newport are a decent  enough outfit.

SPORTS BREAKING NEWS: Man City bid £35m for Gaddafi. They've never seen him play but have heard that everyone is after him.

We might make an audacious swoop for ex Perugia, Sampdoria and Udinese man Al-Saadi Gaddafi...di Canio knows him form Italy, and likes his methods.

If Clarke goes today will that be the shortest time a player has ever been contracted to Swindon, or any club? What is it 2 weeks?

Didnt Didi Hamman go to Bolton from Liverpool for about 30 mins before Man City signed him?

That's true, he walked into a service station or mcdonalds and could not understand a word the staff was saying and he changed his mind.

In-demand Norwich striker Cody McDonald, meanwhile, is thought to be having a medical at Coventry. Has been linked with Posh, Franchise, Sheffield Wednesday, Swindon and even (by some) with a return to Gillingham
