Heard some fairly worrying rumours on here and in other places about what happened at half time and after the match...hopefully it's all bollocks and everything comes together soon.
Roll on Tuesday night, sooner we can get this match out of our minds the better I suspect.

Lots of people calling for Lanzano. Phil Smith may be making mistakes, but for all we know Lanzano could be complete and utter gash.
Bit of a pet hate of mine that fans call for players to be dropped for ones who they have never seen play. Having said that, I thought the GK was a weak link before the season. Phil Smith has put in some good performances, but unfortunately not yesterday.

I need to see at what height it came at him at. If its between his hips and head he did well to smack it away....anything else and its a disaster..

True, but he could also be fucking brilliant. Until he gets a chance to play we won't know. I would play him against Southampton, if he's utter gash then you probably haven't lost anything by giving him a game. If he's fucking brilliant then he keeps his place.

Don't be a cock Leefer, plenty of people are willing to blow smoke up his backside and make excuses for him.My dessenting voice on a football forum isn't going to make any difference to it and certainly wont make his job any harder. He's doing a pretty good job of making his job hard all by himself by making rubbish signing and having the man management skills of Colonel Gadaffi
Blah,Blah Blah.. Not even worth answering that shit.

He could be brilliant. I'm not sure I'd make the change yet. What we have to lose (other than going out the cup) is destroying Smiths already fragile confidence.

and by keeping him in it destroys my ( and others ) fragile confidence in winning a game.

True. I don't know the right answers. I'll apply for the job if PDC doesn't turn things around

True. I don't know the right answers. I'll apply for the job if PDC doesn't turn things around Lanzano may be crap but we need to find out. If he is then I'd go for Plan C and get an experienced keeper in on loan. Smith has had enough chances. Devera an interesting one. Do you keep him in on the basis you know he's got it but hasn't shown it ( PdC view ) or do you take him out of the firing line bacause he's a bag of nerves? I'd really like to see Manks in there to add a bit of physical presence.

In Smiths defence, that one he parried could have been swerving like fuck and he might have seen it late. That said,I saw enough vs pox to see his game has not come on, with the poor distribution and not being quick enough off his line.

True arriba but still should be doing better.Have never been in the smith out camp but when you are trying to weather the storm it doesnt help when the keeper keeps letting teams back in.
