Honestly, I'm sick of people thinking up excuses for these players.

Shrewsbury = "We've had busy week schedule and the team hasn't had time to gel". Every team has a busy week when they're in the cup. And, all these players have had plenty of time to 'gel', they've had 6 games this season + 5 games or however many pre season games there were.

Oxford = "It's a local derby". Shouldn't make a fucking difference losing to them, a team who barely scraped a draw against Aldershot today, hardly Barcelona.

Dag & Red = "We lost because of the ref". Shouldn't make a difference, the fact that they hardly mustered a shot on goal against them is a problem.

Cheltenham = "We always lose there". Makes no sense how 11 completely different players would carry on a burden like that.


The fact is that each one of these losses are unacceptable, shows how far the club has fallen from the heady highs of League 1 when these games are deemed acceptable. People are saying stuff along the lines of "It was always going to be a tough, they NEARLY got promoted last year" is absolutely ridiculous. How do we expect to get promoted then if we're losing to clubs that couldn't go up in a weaker league last season?

I was at the game and i can honestly say taking de vita off changed the game link up play brilliant, bougera or however you spell it was awful didnt win one thing so lets stop going by reputation but performances please

Well to use a cliche a game of two halves.....

First half we got at them, played and passed, not quite City away but very good none the less.

Scored a very good goal where we worked the ball out wide and whipped in a neat cross.

What the fuck happened in the second half.?....woeful.

Couldnt:

- Tackle
- Pass
- Head (except Flint)
- Run
- Think

It was last year all over again only with players whose names i cannot pronounce...

Boiled down it was piss poor and if PDC wants to show his team how it done just watch a video of Shrewsbury knocking it about in the second.

The Midfield just collapsed...........couldnt make a pass at a drunk slut, so there was no link from defence to the front men.

Smith at fault for the first going into a tackle with his back....What?

I am not one to panic but things need to change.....chances have been given and some not taken.

Devera needs to be dropped end of.

Midfielders need to learn how to pass the ball and the 'easy' ball.

AND...for his faults if we had 11 flints we would piss this league.

Chelts we deserved a point, Daggers although i didnt go the same, Oxford we probably deserved a point...not today...Shrewsbury fucked us in the second half good a proper.

My only highlight was DRS scoffing his pie!

Rotherham has just become a big game.

Saints is a distraction...i would trade defeat to them for three points against Rotherham any day!!

Just got back. Good first half where we dominated, awful second half, where we couldn't put 2 passes together. Paolo's substitutions didn't work out today imo, and he still hasn't worked out his best side.

I'm not worried about us, but I think its gonna be a few months before he start get up near the top.

On a more positive note I thought their catering set was something that the board could look at. My Cottage pie was lovely.

Not a great start to the season though the defeats have been close affairs,it is still early days and as i said for me i will start whinging around Xmas time....not after a few matches.
It is not a great standard and once the ball is rolling it will be hard to stop...looking forward to Tuesday  and lets hope this time next week we are a lot happier.

Could go some way to explaining the 2nd half.
