If these players don't start picking up points in the league soon after Wednesday's performance some serious questions will have to be asked. They showed us what they're capable of - they need to start doing it on a regular basis.
Not pushing the panic button yet - we've got an easier run of games coming up in a few weeks. We do need to start picking up a few points soon though.
what teams are these then

Well that 2nd half was awful. Sick of them talking a good game they've gotta start producing. Still think we have the wrong players for this league- we just ain't winning the physical battles

So what are you trying to say? You no longer support them? Do / did you actually go to watch them anyway?

Dagenham finished above us last season, Cheltenham are a team we never ever beat, and Oxford was a derby. Dare I also point out that all 3 of those teams are in the top half right now, whilst the teams I listed are pretty much all in the bottom half

I haven't been to a game this season so cannot pass judgement. Iirc there were comments on here that the only league game we have won (crewe) could have been oh so different if crewe had taken some early chances? Are we that bad? Is the team not gelling or are there some terrible individual performances? We are in this position for a reason so I didn't expect the win for us today (shrews are a good side at home).

Cheltenham we didn't play well but only lost to one defensive laps Dagenham we didn't play well again, but conceded a harsh penalty and were denied one ourselves Oxford we played quite well and got done by two set pieces It's easy to point out the things that have gone our way, but there's plenty that havent. And let's not forget we took City apart in the week. I'm not trying to say everything is rosey, but I'm still convinced we've got enough to turn this around soon.

Agree with that, it makes for pretty grim reading, but we're only 5 games in.

"Swindon Town deserves more and we'll give them more" says Etienne Esajas. Slightly concerned about all the talk of how our players are better than our current position suggests - that's all we heard last season. However, I can't imagine PDC letting them delude themselves so hopefully he'll keep their feet on the ground, keep them working together, and we'll kick into gear soon.

I bet you are ripping up your season ticket right now. Well, except that it's obviously plastic now so i guess you will melt it instead.

Di Canio
- First half we were up but wasn't happy, second half was even worse - We deserved to lose as we weren't a group of professionals - we took 3 steps backwards - Today was about being empty professionally on the field. I can improve professionalism but I can't give heart to players. I would have changed 7 players in the first half if I could - It was clear that we should lose the game, even at 1-0 up, as we didn't have any desire - It's not easy to gel quickly but despite this we need to be capable to do more than we did - I'm sad for the fans as once again they've followed us - I can't recognise my team if we play in this way. The last half hour we didn't create any chances and didn't do well enough, even against a strong team - Very frsutrated that the ('not very skillfull') Morgan ran from one end to the other without being stopped
Basically Paolo sounds gutted that we didn't show any desire today

Has nobody told him skill isn't a prerequisite of doing well in this division? Bring on Tuesday.

They are in the top half because they've all played us R4E!
