John Yems has left Crawley too I heard on the radio. Not surprised after the shocking allegations.

On the face of it that looks like a good move, but with Watford's owners it's probably only in the short term. Still if he signs a four year contract at least he'll get a decent payoff

Giving their record of sacking managers he needs to sign a long term contract!

Jumping a sinking ship (despite promotion). FGR will easily go down next year.

Not so sure, I've previously thought Morecambe and Cambridge would be contenders to come straight back down and they have done pretty well. I think it's brave to suggest FGR will easily go down, I understand why you would think it, but I'm not convinced just now.

It's the momentum for me. 5 points in their last 6 and departing manager. Just can't see them going anywhere.

No but if they pay off your contract and no one blames you anyway because Watford sack everyone, it might be a win/win.

+1 FGR facing a relegation struggle next season.
Cambridge surprised me and Morecambe are perrenial strugglers, doesn't mean they will definately get relegated but they will be int he bottom 6 come May next year I am sure of it.
More chance of them struggling losing their manager too.
I guess Watford dont really care about FGR finishing the season with just 4 wins from the last 17 games.

Its weighing up a shit load of compensation vs a sacking on your CV after 6 months, if hes money motivated then it may be a contributing factor, also going to manage a poper club could be an incentive too.

Absolutely fair points re the momentum and manager so I can completely understand where you are coming from.

Dale Vince just did an interview on SKY. He is pissed!
Said had no request from Watford and was all done on the quiet, said he is disappointed in the manager and expected more
