Was that on Wellens? Thought they had serious financial issues which stopped them getting Reed who was training at them for a month.
Yeah I suppose his hands were tied to an extent, but still, I'm not sure thats the only thing to blame it on. |

Good appointment on the face of it
He must have agreed before the Bradford job came up, worked wonders at Newport, 3 seasons playing some utterly awful football to watch, long ball, beating up teams and then 1 season turned them into a passing team who had a good season before deciding to give it up and walk away from Newport. Interesting that he has only a 40% win rate at Newport but he only had a loss rate of 33% in his 250 games. By comparison Garner is 44% win rate and 26% loss rate with us so far in all games (38 so far). |
