Can’t see it. This whole Garner and Clem combo is about a project and, tbf, it needs to play out.

We stayed down here for a while under Flitcroft and Brown, we should be prepared for similar.

Watford sack Xisco Munoz
And replace hime with Claudio Ranieri.

I see John Sheridan has made it onto many betting lists for the Newport job alongside Mark Cooper.

I hope for the sake of their fans they don't appoint Sheridactly again.

That guy should never be allowed near a football club again in his life, especially after the way he managed us.

Cooper would be an interesting one, seems to be doing OK at Basra and the natives seem to like him, so cannot see what Newport would offer apart from geography maybe.

Nobody in their right mind would employ Sheridan surely? His tenure here was beyond abject. It will take some glossing over when he talks through his CV to a prospective new club

Oh I agree but some Salford, Oldham and Doncaster fans would say the same thing about Wellens yet he would be welcomed back here by many.

Sheridan had a spell in charge of Newport back in 2015-16 maybe he won over some fans and board members back then?

Not likely. Can't imagine a sub 30% win rate set too many pulses racing either!

I didn't even realise he went back to Saarfend in April!

a 4-0 defeat at home to Chesterfield today was a very poor result, with a pitch invasion by the Saarfend fans too I see!
