Interesting one, hes been out of the game for a couple of years now, possibly waiting for the best offer. Didn't do very well at Hull previously though but prior to that he was handy. |

Therein lies the problem. He would command a decent salary above and beyond our ‘sustainable budget’ and the players to make it work, again, above and beyond our sustainable budget. See a theme here? I know you do but that as is oft said these days it is what is is. |

Done nothing of note since 2013. Not an appointment I’d be over the moon about. Naturally these things can go either way but would feel a bit Phil Brown to me, a jobbing manager still getting jobs based on things they did 7-10 years ago. Which is of course still a step up on a jobbing manager whose done nothing but be shit for 16 years. |
