Noel Hunt rumoured to be part of the new team taking over at Ipswich. Great gig for him.

Would that be working alongside Paul Cook

I thought he went to Salford?
Noel Hunt is definately not currently linked to Salford at all in any capacity.

Not sure how he can be linked to a job at a club who have not even had time to interview anyone yet, Paul Cook being current favourite for the job currently according to their forum and betting, but their owner stating he is going to take some time before appointing the next manager.

I'm not sure he's going to be the owner for much longer....

You'd assume he's got guarantees that he will be given the chance to get them back up next season if he doesn't?

The way their chairman hires and fires, you would expect if they go down he will get sacked.
It was rumoured Paul Cook was interested in the job but the chairman was only willing to give him a contract until end of the season.

I think Moore got lucky, Doncaster are not on a good run at the moment and risk missing out of PO's on current form, so they may have pushed the button and got rid of him if current form continued anyway.

I especially liked the bit about ‘Irish club Watford’!

Good read, though.

Cook confirmed at Ipswich. Good appointment for them and could see them promoted.

Seems like their current owner made the appointment so not sure where that leaves the 'takeover imminent' gossip.
