Bilic boinged by the Baggies. Replaced by Big Sam.
I'd laugh if they still get relegated.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

They've gone from working for al-Shabab to working for Lee Power, so if anything they've moved up the hierarchy of evil.

TBC I think the al Shabab they were at was the Saudi football club rather than the Somali Islamist terrorist group affiliated to ISIS. I'm assuming Power's reputation hasn't degenerated to quite that extent yet.

I wouldn't be very impressed appointing a manager who at 61 has never managed a 1st team before.

If this isn't a fake account, then Ian Holloway's gone all Trump and announced his resignation on Twitter https://twitter.com/IanOllie7/status/1341675118666387458Which is going down especially well as it was only six days ago he tweeted "Let me say, first and foremost, that I’m not going anywhere unless I’m told to" A week's a long time in Grimsby.

As I said recently, I intend to be fully honest with you, the supporters.
Contact was made by the new owners to me on several occasions before the takeover, which I felt was inappropriate, and told them as such. This is the key factor in my decision. Am I missing something? Why would new owners not want to speak with the manager? Regardless of whether or not a takeover has completed. It sounds like an excuse to me.

The Grimsby local paper have revealed recently that the owner, Fenty, appears to have been showing a convicted con man (and a nasty one at that, conned old people out of their homes) around the ground on matchdays. IIRC Fenty isn't that well loved anyway, but that would seem to be a lower step down. This bit should probably be in the "It could be worse" thread
