But how can any club back their manager above and beyond the salary cap? They’ll have to hope he’s top notch at recruitment and can actually coach players - exactly the same for every other club. I’d imagine they’ve already spent up to the cap. |

But the cap is the cap. They can have as much income as they want, they can only spend £2.5m - the same as everyone else in L1.
