Seems very loathe to move from the north west.
Never been to a club more than an hour commute from his home in Runcorn.

Surprising as well that hes been out of work since being sacked by Shrewsbury 6 years ago, he only won 3 games in charge of them in 20 matches.

Definately the cheap option as their fans were hoping for ex Col U John McGreal.

Considering that Le Tissier seems to have turned into some sort of conspiracy theory mentalist, I imagine he wouldn't admit it even if he was.

Wow, that bloke has a horrendous managerial record. I wonder how he managed to get that job?

He knows the club very well and is a close friend to the chairman.

Mike Jackson's appointment at Tranmere makes a little bit of sense than it's being made out. It's just not the appointment fans want to see.

Ex-Rovers player who was Mellon's assistant and they've been, understandably, crying poverty.

When Wellens eventually leaves Swindon, I sort of expect Noel Hunt to be next in line.

Sounds like Chris Hughton is off to Bristol City. Wonder if he'll take Paul Trollope and Colin Calderwood with him (the former most likely)?
