Anybody know if their takeover is likely to happen anytime soon? We don't want a manager that has half an eye on another job. If he does, of course.

In the same year that he got compensation for David Flitcroft. The bloke’s a genius.

Their fans love him, recently voted him as one of their best managers ever after Steve Bruce. Anybody know if their takeover is likely to happen anytime soon? We don't want a manager that has half an eye on another job. If he does, of course.

Since when has any owner taken notice of what fans want?
He’s hardly pulled up many trees since he left Hull.

I could see him selling up if the ground deal and/or training ground get done.
I do wonder how much influence he asserting these days anyway. The last season or so seems very un-Power like in letting the manager get on with it.. wonder if Clem what's it fancies taking it on
wonder if Clem what's it fancies taking it on - I was wondering that when having this discussion yesterday.

They would surely prefer Steve Bruce...he's available isn't he?

Power will only sell if he is no longer making money, or has a reasonable short/medium term shout of making money from the club.
Considering what has been put into the club he would have made more money putting it in the Building Society...

If Brown goes Power should just put David Coe in charge.
Clearly he must fancy Power as why else why would he keep putting money into this cesspit of a football club?

I predict Phil Brown getting a Sporting Director type job if Duffen takes control again.
We’re stuck with a poochy Tynesider if it goes the other way.

?? I would not be shocked if Town are approached by Hull and Brown leaves, he has stated last season he wants to be managing in the Championship when his name was linked to the Sunderland job, before they were relegated.
