Lopetegui sacked by Spain....
Rafael Benítez to Spain? if he does it won't be in time for the WC finals now.

Not great timing by Spain, yes he took the RM job but surely he could see out the finals before leaving.

He'd be going to Russia for that??  Wink

Can't really see what else Spain could do, if he didn't tell them and they only found out 5 mins before it was announced its either a massive disrespect or he is a complete fuckwit, plus the fucking turmoil it would cause with Barca players being managed by the existing RM manager would put France to shame in sheer carnage terms.

I hope the Spanish FA chair told him to shove it up his bollocks!

I remember Frank Bunn scoring 6 for Oldham in the LC v Scarborough, on the horrible plastic.  Scarborough gaffer Ray McHale. They'd turned Chelsea over in the previous round.

He was highly rated early in his career but that was definately the highlight of it, still the LC individual scoring record for a player, IIRC he was pretty well built and strong with a bit of pace.

Suffered a lot with injuries in his pretty short career.

Quite a surprise appointment as he has very very little 1st team managerial experience, 2 games joint  caretaker at Coventry and he didnt win either of those games.

I'm fairly hopeful that Oldham will struggle next season.

Frankie Bunn appointed new manager at Oldham.

He had hoped for Chelsea....but will possibly end up at Bath.

Disappointingly doesn't seem to have a baked goods angle, but this could be a decent appointment for Leeds:

Perhaps he'll leave Leeds season tickets selling like hot cakes anyway?
