A few quotes from the Mansfield forum about Flitcroft.

Quote
I would be happy with Flitcroft his sides always play decent football.

i think he is the type of manager we need

Chairman and budget-wise, we offer a better position than Swindon for Flitcroft. Also the location is more ideal. For him to go up in the betting seems odd, someone must have heard he's applied?

Idbe very satisfied with Flickr. Id consider it a sideways move from evans. I recall his bury team and this seasons swindon home match team comprehensively playing us off the park. Ill have a bit of that.

Would see Swindon as bigger than Stags and not sure why he would move from there but after Evans games and deceit who knows these days.

Flitcroft now 2/5 fav across the bookies. Seems strange just to be a random punt.

They can be my guest. I do wonder...if DF was tempted, and he did go...obviously I would imagine Power to have someone in place already...Uwe Rosler is available...I'm just daydreaming aren't I?

It does indeed, Don't know if he gets on with the current owners of Mansfield, I know Flitcroft was openly critical of the pitch up there this season but whether they have connections I don't know.

Or Flitcroft may not be as happy here as he could be and wants a move 150 miles closer to his home?

That or it could be complete bollocks, but with bookies there is often a word from inside clubs when names are linked, its rarely totally random.

I think most Town fans would be very happy with Flitcroft leaving and Rosler arriving, whether or not that even realistic I don't know but I would guess anything is possible.

C’mon folks, it would be Fenlon until the end of the season if such an event would take place.

That's more realistic. Rosler appointment, would show some real intent to get out of this division and with the current crop of players I think he'd get more out of them than DF. I also think he'd be able to build upon this squad the following season if he guide us into L1. Yes, Fenlon would be more realistic. Come on Power, make this your 'rabbit out of the hat'.
