Sherwood hotly tipped to take over. Williams as assistant / head mate of the lads.
I may have made this up.
Now that would be a Fairytale. For us

Think he's found it difficult to balance football management with the Game of Thrones commitments.

Interesting, not that many managers go back for a 2nd term with a previous club, I guess he feels there was unfinished business there. They were the last club he had a fairly successful spell with. I would rather have him as a manager than Slade though.

He did, so did Danny Williams, not that common though - certainly in quite recent years and very rarely successfully.

Orient haven't sacked their manager for a month or so now amazingly. When they inevitably do maybe Russell Slade could go back there. Chances are with their lunatic Italian chairman they are going to exit the League and would offer him the surely unique opportunity to be sacked 3 times in 1 season.

Depends if the owner pays off HMRC in the next few weeks or they are put into administration or receivership

Alex Neil sacked by Norwich
They got a draw on Tuesday night and have a game tomorrow, sacking him on the Friday afternoon seems a peculiar decision (unless I suppose they have someone immediately lined up?)
