So Sherwood back in at QPR, JFH to us, alongside Williams, with QPR supplementing his salary (as part of compo) and the continuous flow of players continues?
Actually, that doesn't sound too crazy or horrible.
I would be happy with that, apparently Holloway, Robinson, Sherwood and Clement are all in the frame. Warburton has a lot of backing too.

Has Sherwood actually been confirmed anywhere or is it just speculation?
Just speculation...see above post For the rcord I see QPR fans do not want Sherwood and seem to have labelled him "Capt Bellend"

It's a curious paradox that if Luke was any good, he'd probably be off somewhere like QPR pdq. Of course Power covered that with the long contract, but we'd still be back to square one. If our model is to work, it does need some time and stability, and there may well be short term pain for long term gain. As for Saturday's game and Luke's future, a win is probably too much to expect, a point would be acceptable. We've one regulation league win at CG v Addicks, going back 40 odd years and 12 attempts. Obviously, despite their off field turmoil, the fact they could sign Ajose for £750K, shows the relative budgets.

If our model is to work, it does need some time and stability, I assume you include a better balance of retain/flog off in our players. Bit stuck on that at the moment, because the "flog off" chest is a bit bare. But do we have the finances in place to support turning down some bids? If not, in my opinion we are on a very near certain hiding to nothing. Oh, and Charlton have lost 1 away in their last 7, but have only won 1 too. We can get a point.

The crash of the turd polishing startegy is a concern, but we operate on a 2 year cycle and are approx a year and half through. From Williams' comments, they've given up on a number making Powus anything, so they'll be binned off asap. There may even be a few panic signings in Jan, as I 'm sure Power would rather not go down.

Fans calling for Danny boy to be sacked by Chesterfield after their awful 4-1 home defeat to local rivals Sheff Utd today.
7th in a row league defeat. Only scoring 1 goals in those 7 games too.

Danny's got his 1000 games and 20+ years of management under his belt (a tip of the cap for these achievements) but surely that'll be it for him in management after Chesterfield?

Doesn't he live in Chesterfield? Think that must have been only reason he got job in first place - been pretty much non stop failure to deliver after promising start/stopping the slump at pretty much everywhere he has been. Shame we played them so early on in the season.
