Zola has resigned from Watford.
Just before he was sacked by the sound of it, looks better on the CV...5 home defeats in a row is unacceptible, one of those being a 3-0 home defeat to Yokels who had 1 away win up to that point.

Can't help but think that Sherwood stepping up to the plate at Spurs might help us (assuming he's the prime mover at that end behind shifting half-decent players our way) albeit can't quite articulate why.

Conversely, mind, if a new fella comes in and does a Di Canio-style clean sweep of all the backroom staff, he could be out on his arse and our "understanding" could be in tatters.

Bugger, now I've set myself off into a spiral of barely articulated worry. I don't even know how much of a worry it would be if we lost the Spurs link, just everything seems a bit fragile at the moment (as in could go either way, not as in about to fall completely apart)

He'll probably want to replace Franco Baldini, with Lee Power, after all Baldini is culpable in spunking 100 mill of Yid money, up against the wall. I don't think there are rules against owning one club, but working for another.

Only second. He's managed both Sheffield clubs as well though. Just Rotherham and Doncast to go to get a South Yorkshire full house.

Isn't Kingy the assistant? Hopefully he does well in the intrim and can get himself the job until the end of the season.

They've also got Tim Flowers there...that could be a decent combo.
