I read that he was sacked by letter along with the backroom staff.

Apparently the 'Global Advisor' Shebby Singh has never spoken to Appleton...

Massive figure that and it's explained by the BBC sport article from the LMA (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21857347) I believe it's 103 managers and coaches to have been replaced/left their club. We had 4 of them leave here for starters!
