If that happens Crawley could be in some trouble this season.

It's happened.

Into 1/10 and to be announced tomorrow

Te he. The Forest fan at work has gone from thinking they are the new Man City->reality of stealing Crawley's manager in the space of a week. A joy to watch.

Being confirmed by Crawley fans on TFF now.  Huge compensation apparently, but in their words "up shit creek without a paddle".

I rate O'Driscoll, major kick in the balls for Crawley.

Two promotions and may do well, hardly an "iconic manager" though

I'm told he never signed a contract at Crawley as "promises weren't kept" by board. So can walk to #nffc free as a bird

and following lengthy and intensive negotiations we have been able to agree compensation with Nottingham Forest which will include a friendly before the 2013-14 season at the City Ground.

The thlot plickens!

Left without playing/managing a competitive game. How many players did he sign?

Some quotes from their forum....

Quote
Mick McCarthy would be a superb appointment.

anyone but cophell, i would like to see Roy Keane else Harry Redknapper

Lee Bradbury or Paul Hart

Dyche and Cotterill are not out of our league at all, and of the two I would very much champion approaching Dyche.

Barmby is a good shout. Another one who plays football the Spurs way. Only got sacked at Hull for being outspoken.

Some of their fans are so incredibly delusional.

I hope they get Paul Hart....a match made in heaven.

Have to say I don't really hate Crawley now fat boy has left. They are just a small league 1 club probably at the start of a downward spiral now.

Just makes you wonder how their fans are going to react to getting beaten on a fairly regular basis in League 1.

I remember they were gobsmacked last season when we beat them so easily at the CG - one said he never thought a team in League 2 could beat them twice so easily. Spose he must have wiped the 6-0 thrashing at Morecombe from his memory.

Hope they dont get too arsey - it could be carnage!
