Timlin to Southend should be a safe bet then, you'd think.

What did Di Canio and Timlin fall out over?

I feel sorry for the bloke, I know its been said a few times, he may not be the most talented footballer we have but he will always give 100% and could certainly do a job in this league. He has signed a contract in the summer and 4 games in isn't needed.... Strange.

Amankwaah also confuses me, I rate him, all seems strange to me.

Appointing di Canio was always going to lead to strange decisions....doesn't necessarily mean they wont work...only results will show this.

I think both are good enough to play in our team. That said, Caddis is a nailed on starter at right back and i can't argue with that. I think Di canio has faith in Thompson in that position too so it does figure.
Dunno what happend with Timlin as he looked like he was going to feature this season.

Think Atiku was just a mistake, he's found better now so Atiku is 4th choice. With no reserve games it makes more sense for him to be out on loan subject to injuries.

Timlin, not bothered. Ferry starts, i think Smith could develop into something really good, Mccormack looks alright as well, jury is still out on Risser.

Amankwaah? amazes me!! Kennedy isnt good enough in my opinion, and nothing so far has convinced me otherwise. Dont know how good this Cibbochi is going to be, but at the moment i'd rather be having Caddis at LB and Manks in the team at RB. Always casualties of manager changes though i guess.

The reason Timlin suddenly doesn't figure in Di Canio's plan is clearly because he's spoken out of turn to him nothing whatsoever to do with his footballing skills (or lack of some might say).  He's never been one of my favourite players, but I find the situation quite pathetic to be honest.  The Amankwaah one has pissed me off more though, it doesn't appear he's been given a chance and he deserves better imo.

Personally I think this is a piss poor managerial decision.  Both players are the sort of experienced players you need in League 2.  Manks in particularly is far better than some of the players that Di Canio has been picking.

Not happy with this decision. Both add something to the squad.

Timlin and Manks are experienced players who have excelled in this league and higher before. Amankwaah is the perfect RB for this league and has the potential to be the best RB in the league, but has had no chance whatsoever Sad But it costs a fortune to have his name put on your shirt as I found out, cost cutting measure by the board ?  Hmmm

I don't really care.Grateful for the service they have iven the club but if they are not in his plans then i couldn't give a shit tbh.Again alot of people seem disspointed but realistically as most have said the reason we have lost games recently is because of set pieces and not taking chances.I fail to see what these two players could or would of done to prevent this.

We havn't had more than a handful of decent performances from big kev since the playoff season and timlin blows hot and cold anyway, dicanio wanted to play him left wing but he doesnt want to so fuck it.

Jo and Fola... both these players have had ample opportunity to show there worth...both were in the squad last season that finished rock bottom...Manks is a good player but is always injured.
Timlin has had four years here and done what...tell me what he brings to any side because i must be missing something Hmmm

Its time to move on and if a player gets on the wrong side of a new manager then he has only himself to blame.

To be honest Leef I'm not really that bothered about Timlin just making the point that it's a row that's caused it.

I've always liked Manks and am genuinely disappointed with this one.  I know he was injured a fair bit last season, but when fully fit in the latter stages he wasn't given a chance.  Tbh I don't think he would have done any worse than the utter shite we witnessed.
