Can I just ask how many more players are we going to sign?

Haven't seen them this season, but am I right in saying its the few who were here last season that are by far our better players?

Without reading the whole thread, I was going to say something along these lines. PDC has had ample opportunity to reshape and mould the squad he wants. I'm not saying it is easy or that after 3 defeats on the bounce he needs to go, but how many more players does he want to sign?

Sooner or later the board will say you've had enough, now work with what you have got. I'm aware the transfer window closes in a little over a week but at the moment we're linked with a new player every 5 minutes.

I'd say McCormack, Esaja, Gabilondo, Connell and Clarke all look like decent signings. The jury is still out on Risser and J Smith I suppose, but both could yet come good. And if this Czech bloke comes in, he could well be a top player for us.

I understand the frustration, but if one or two little things had gone our way over the past three games we'd be in the top half and wouldn't be having this discussion anyway...

I don't get it?

Why would an 'international striker' who 'counts his team mates as Rosicky and Bednar', has '4 international caps' and is described as 'the next Jan Koller' be interested in signing for a League 2 outfit in the lower half of the table?

PdC tactics are clear, we will just need to score more than we concede. No need to buy a defender when we can win games 8-7. Cheesy

The team that Magera played for last season.

Fotbal Club Politehnica Timişoara is a Romanian football club which was established in 1921[1] and is currently playing in Romania's second league, Liga II. The team has won two Romanian Cup and was twice a runner-up in Liga I.

Rumanian 2nd division, bet the standard of football is fantastic !

Politehnica Timişoara have finished 2nd, 5th and 2nd in the top Romanian division during Magera's three seasons with the club. Despite finishing 2nd in 2010/11, the Romanian Football Federation have denied them the licence necessary to play in the top division and have thus relegated them. I have not been able to find any articles explaining why that are actually in English!

He has played in the Europa League for the past three seasons and the last of his four international caps came a year ago.

He signed for Politehnica Timişoara for a reported fee of a million Euros from Banik Ostrava and signed a three year contract with the option of a two year extension. Reading between the lines, I think he turned down the extension upon the team's licence denial.

Hmm so how are they in the 2nd division?do you get relegated in Rumania for finishing 2nd?
And in those 3 seasons he has scored 20 goals, hardly prolific is it.
And as for Russian premier league clubs being after him, what the same Russian league that want to make Samuel Eto the best paid player in the world on £350,000 a week?

Tough decision then for Lukas, shall i go to the Russian premier league and earn mega bucks,or shall i go and watch an English 4th tier game and hope paolo likes me.

Dream on.
