What an embarrassment and humiliation for Paolo. Anyone would know that taunting a bloke like that is only going to inspire him to try harder and do better. So then he goes and scores after 10 minutes.

Sometimes Paolo its better to keep your trap shut. Alex Ferguson you are not. Head Hurts

Let's just hope that PDC can inspire Town at half time the same way he seems to have inspired the fake scummer.

That said it would help if the scummers defence could start defending crosses like Devera.

Unfortunately, I think the board made a massive error appointing Di Cannio as manager.Said so at the time, and got quite a bit of stick for it.Too much of a loose cannon for managerial consideration, has no managerial experience. The start we have made to the season confirms my initial reservations. He hasn't got a clue Bad Mood.

Good first post, nearly earnt the C word from the off!

If he hadn't said anything and Cunt-Stubble grabbed a brace we'd be saying the reverse.  Nothing to do with inexperience or being a bad manager - it's just that the player has shown he's above mind games.

It's not like Football Manager where if he hadn't said anything the player wouldn't have scored...  If we lose the game it won't be because of what was said pre-match, apart from perhaps in the dressing room.

Point taken, I didn't mean to suggest the attempts at mind games would be the reason we loose(if we do).I felt that Di Cannio was a bad decision right from the moment he was appointed, nothing I've seen so far has changed my mind.

Didn't he screw up a 1 on 1 chance towards the end as well?

So a bit like our strikers - only he scores.  I know which I'd like...

Combine the two qualities and you have a striker worth having - and by definition would rarely be found in league 2.

I like Di Canio's live in the moment mentality.

He's not like some of the wet coward fans we have in this country who are too scared to be brash and have a bit of banter incase it backfires.
