Similar player in terms of attributes and career to that of Craig Davies. If Clarke has half impact on this league that Davies did it could be a cracking piece of business

Would definitely be playing in a league below his ability

I have no problem with this signing, seems a bit of a gamble and could go either way, looking forward to it maybe coming off

Shock of the year, Swindon fans write off possible new signing before he even signs.

I think he would be good at this level and just what we need by the look of it, has scored some good goals in his career and is a big striker and is English for all you xenophobes that think we have too many foreigners.

Go for it PdC.

It's probably one out of Michael Wojtanowicz and Leon Clarke I would imagine. Don't think PDC would sign them both considering the other forwards we've got here.

judging by his press conference yesterday, it seemed as though he was saying he would buy clarke if we could sort a deal for him. he would go straight in. If not, then the austrian as option 2.

Nope it will be one or the other, that is unless Clarke come sin on loan in which case QPR will cover much more of his wages and we may be able to accomodate both in the squad.

it will defo be one or the other. I also think he'll keep the spanish winger... which means three players to go out.

I think a lot of our fans are getting Leon Clarke mixed up with Leon McKenzie   Cheesy

Would be happy with this signing.

If wages are a stumbling block then potentially could a loan not be sorted out? Bit like the Bellamy-Cardiff one last year.
