That was his original name, but it was changed to Eric by a mod, in homage to Bananaman.

Ah of course, I remember.

I assumed "Eric" would stay with him after death.

This attention seeking - its all a bit needy isn't it - but I suppose with no history and the fear of what your reletives may try and do if you sleep with your door unlocked you may end up like that?

So now he's gone, can someone tell me who he really was?

He wasn't a proper Oxford fan and was just a regular on a wind-up, shirley?

I'd imagine so Samdy. Started off alright then became Thrush. Must have been a long game troll?

It's almost exactly how he ended up with a ban from FF.

Always poking and prodding for a reaction but not liking the replies he then expects apologies and turns our own against each other. I think he was/is a total fake.

He's been on Oxford fan on another forum (multiple times over) as well.

He signed up (and was banned) again today - getting the chance to post this gem

I agree. Not quite as bad, but Swindon fans sing about Martin Aldridge (ex Oxford player) being dead. Beyond acceptable.

What a cunt.

Oxford fan here. Apparently he's banned but emailed me on the yellows forum and asked me to post this.

"Hello chums. I have quite rightly and deservedly been banned. I'd like to thank you all for being such fun. I'm particularly touched that the majority of those who voted in my little poll DIDN'T vote for me to go!Still, at least you have oxford_fan as a pet"

Anyway, haven't been following this and havent been on here since Sunday as I live in Sarf Larndon and have been trying to dodge all the feral scum roaming the streets and that has preoccupied me.

One thing the whole rioting thing has made me think, is whether the policing will be affected in approach and style for our game. On Monday night I was in Clapham (helping defend a mates shop befoer anyone says anything) and the policing was horrific. They stood and watched as the looters caused carnage burning a shop down, stoning the firemen, treating themselves to everythnig in Debenhams, Currys, etc.. Apparently I've since read the police admit they got tactics wrong as they treated it like crowd control rather than the criminality that it was.

I wonder if the police may be a bit embarrassed by their initial soft response, or out to prove a point about crowd control on the 21st?

I do actually. More fool you if you're not worried about the happenings across the country this week, the impact it has on policing, how your matchday may be affected. I'll let you come back when you've spent 4 hours being kettled up and miss a game, etc.

Perhaps some of your more learned forum members are interested too. Anyway, thanks awfully for your pitiful contribution.
