Due to the rioting 2 ties have been cancelled tonight..
Charlton vs. Reading
West Ham vs. Aldershot.
As this is spreading fast, already in Liverpool and Birmingham, what are the chances of it spreading to Bristol and affecting us? I've been told by a few people that the police are worried it might spread to Bristol, St. Pauls. How true that is I don't know mind.

Sorry if I'm being incredibly fucking stupid, I don't know much at all about why these riots have started as I was at a music festival between Thursday and late yesterday, so was a bit shut off from 'the world', but why the fuck are random cities, which are nowhere near London, being targeted? I don't get it? And it's all because some bloke got shot by a police officer, right? Was the dude well known, or what?
Just a brief overview would be nice, please

It started off as a peaceful demonstration as a member of the public was shot by the police. Now, mainly youths, are starting to loot for no reason whatsoever.

I was responding more to your point about it being a response to a police shooting. All these riots have sprung from something much more deeply rooted, even if the result is just a load of youths creating chaos for a laugh. |
