DiCanio:
- Important after first bad 30 mins
- Didnt lose confidence
- We should/need to be better
- Risser 'felt the game too much' in front of fans 'too shy' (ie nervous in first half)
- Backed Risser despit him not playing well today
- Deserved to win
- Hope fans enjoy
- Happy that we won but now others will up their game against us. If they work hard DiCanio will remain confident
- No opinion on penalty as couldnt see.
- Scoring penalty was important as it changed the game
- Risser goal was well controlled in between 2 defenders

Then my connection died!!

Said the players can have a drink tonight......sparkling water, no beer.

Saying that Bodin trained well last week. After the Reading game alot of people were saying he's not ready to play for us and alot of talk of him going out on loan. Also picking him proved the point no one is safe and things can change in a week.

Up to the manager to watch everything in training.

Sounds like we're not signing Raimondi.

Possibly another striker in on trial tomorrow.

I think we'll be top of the league by 5pm.

I will refer to you as "the oracle" from now on

talking about body language in the warm up - when was the last time we had a manager who even bothered watching the pre-game warm up?

- Bodin played well. Justified DiCanio's decision to play him over Connell
- Big change in Bodin in 6 days. Learned lots and impressed DiCanio
- Despite all goals scored in preseason, still need another two players
- Tomorrow another striker joins on trial, plus another player. Uraguyan gone home to think about it. DiCanio may take him later but not going to take him now.
- DiCanio talked about teamwork and the fact that players can change his mind as Bodin did this week.

1st half we were shit.

2nd half we cunted them.

Di canio is a mentalist

Crewe could have been 3 goals to the good at half time. Glad that despite going in a goal ahead it didn't delude the team over their performance and second half was much better.

To get the negatives out of the way first:

- smith looked out of his depth, devera looked very shakey
- we were dreadful for much of the first half, lucky not to be behind.
- Apart from his goal Risser did fuck all. Has missed a large chunk of pre-season though, so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt
- I appear to be sat next to the billy bodin hate squad for this season, which may come to a head at some point this season.

In better news -

- Second half we were amazing. I don't know what was behind it, whether Di Canio gave them a rocket at half time, or it was down to our fitness but it was a completely different performance.
- Aden Flint was a fucking colossas. I cannot overstate how good he was today. Dug devera out of trouble a couple of times.
- Kennedy had a good game, as did Timlin.
- Very impressed by Mcormack when he came on.
- Bodin was impressive, as was de vita. Connell looked alright when he came on too. Only concern was they all looked very similar players, but they did well so can't moan today.
- Di Canio is mental

Keep it up
