Assuming there will be no new players before saturday, what line up would you go with?

I think we are without Lanzano or Esajas and we are waiting to hear about Comazzi's susspension. I would go with:

               Smith

Amankwaah Devera Comazzi Kenedey

Caddis Risser Ferry Ritchie

     Connell De Vita

If Comazzi can't play, then I would go with Flint. I would be a lot happier if we signed another striker.

I think the team will be:

Smith
Caddis Devera Flint Kennedy
Ritchie Risser J.Smith Timlin
Connell de Vita

Would rather swap Timlin for Amankwaah with Ritchie playing left wing and Caddis right wing, but can live with that team. As much as Di Canio says he doesn't see Timlin as a left winger, I think he'll fill in there until Esajas returns...the prospect of Esajas and Ritchie on the pitch at the same time is pretty tantalising.

Judging by the way the friendlies have gone I imagine Nemo's team will be the starting XI.

Does anyone know the status of Kerrouche's fitness?

I think Nemo is corerct aswell, i'm still not convinced with Timlin playing wide.

I was wondering about Kerrouche aswell, pretty sure I remember hearing it was just a knock but could be thinking of someone else.

PDC said on Saturday that he Kerrouche will not be fit for the game on Saturday, not necessarily because of the injury, just that because he got the injury he has not been able to train enough since he joined.

Ok, so that sort of decides the strikeforce for Saturday then, unless we sign someone new.

I think if we were to play Etienne and Ritchie on both flanks then the two central midfielders would have to be very disciplined.

As for Saturday, PDC will play Timlin on the left, Caddis at right back with Ritchie on the right.

Also on Saturday I noticed that the team looked at lot bigger and more physical than it has in years.

I think Nemo has it right, assuming no new signings/suspensions overturned.

I still think Ferry will prove to be better than J. Smith (not seen Risser), but PDC doesn't seem think so.

Well once Smith gets suspended - and that DEFINITELY will happen! - then hopefully Ferry gets a chance to stake a claim.

I wonder if Ferry is being overlooked not because of a lack of ability, but rather because of a lack of discipline in the way he plays - positioning, decisions etc. We all know what he can do, so perhaps its more a case of his way of playing not fitting in to Di Canio's rigid, regulated approach?

He won't McCormack will come in for J.Smith.  It would seem Ferry has been pushed right down the bottom of the pack for some reason. It does seem strange that both Wilson, Hart and now PDC don't want to play him.

I think Nemo has it right. Would prefer to see Fezza in there for Smith, but I've barely seen him play so lets see.

Would similarly bet on Nemo's team being PDC's selection but myself would rather see the side Langers has put out.
