http://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/staticFiles/80/85/0,,10341~165248,00.pdfKnow Batch put a link up but for those who havn't seen it. Number three caught my eye for some reason Weather is good though no doubt parking will be an issue Players training at 12 will give me a chance to try and recognise a few of the newbies.

I would've loved this as a kid, well done by the club.

Fantastic set up, I went to one of the first and it was pretty much an amateurish affair compared to this! I didn't realise they had organised so much, with lots of stalls etc.

Brilliant, went along with the family, they are not footy mad like me but they loved it,great effort by all because it was a very enjoyable time. A few pics, nothing special but the actual playing service is looking good....training session.

Went to see a bit of the training and was intending to spend a bit of time there, go do something else then go back so my lad could be in the biggest team photo ever.
What actually happened was I ended up staying 12-4:30 (couldn't convince the Mrs to stay for the legends game), bought two shirts and a T-shirt and had a thoroughly good time. A real testament to how this has improved. Nice one club.
Only disappointment was that couldn't really hear PDC being interviewed properly. Squad numbers were announced, Lanzano is #1, Ferry is #8, I think Flint is a low number and was it Ritchie was #10, and messi 21.
Anywho, he also repeated every game we give 100% but against Oxford its 200 or 300%. He said some managers say derby games are just like any other, but no they aren't..

Ferry looks like Guile from Street Fighter in that 3rd pic.
Sounds like it was a great day. Bit of a shame I didn't drag my arse off of the sofa, but late shifts fucking drain me.

A very very good day. I think making the the club accessible like this is a good way of appeasing fans for last year and it will definitely go a long way to putting bums on seats come August the 6th. I was very impressed with how the players were interacting with the fans, brilliant attitudes all round. Some things I learnt about the players this afternoon: - Kevin Amankwaah and Aden Flint are man mountains - Michael Timlin is a genuinely nice bloke - Simon Ferry is taller than me

Could of done with a couple more speakers further back but the club probably didn't expect that many people/ fans to attend. Hopefully it gave the management and players a real buzz knowing they have come to a club that although are in div 2 are still very well supported. Didn't stay for the 5-a-side final, how did the ex pro's get on?
