Not sure if i'll bother yet. Just can't be bothered to pay £8 for a dull friendly game. And it takes ages to get out of the car park after the game.

With luck I'm going to this and the Ciren game. Might give Reading a miss though, unless something special happens signing wise.

I like the closeness of a non-league ground. Don't get anything out of seeing a Championship team play a pre-season friendly though.

One of the things I like about watching the non league friendlies is that you can get so close and hear the players talking to each other. That interests me.

Really?
I went to the Bath City and Eastwood FA Cup games last season and was on the road by 5pm and that included an attendance of 1200+. 10 minutes max waiting time methinks.

A good point. I recall an STFC/Supermarine friendly where the banter between Paul Evans and a young fan sat by the corner flag was classic. Although STFC won that evening I was seriously pissed off with the Marine players who seemed intent to scythe and injure as many of our lads as possible. Yes, I'm talking about you Mark Draycott.... you cuntbucket.

What bus would one have to take from Swindon bus station to get close to Supermarines ground?

Try a taxi, it's a lot easier

Are we allocated seats on the tickets, or is it a standing ground?
