Haha love this : A player who gives their best and gives a blood and guts performance on the pitch is what I want. Not someone who wears hairbands and runs around on the pitch thinking they are model. That is not for me. Been watching videos of Prutton last season much Paolo?

eVery time Paolo opens his mouth I like him a bit more and become a little less worried about having no strikers.
if he can walk the walk half as good as he talks the talk we'll be in for a good season.

We've won 11-0 and 5-0 so far, we don't need any strikers

Agree and I can't help but feel we're 2 strikers short of being in a very good position to challenge.

Lets hope today is transfer Friday and we have 2 strikers signed by the end of the day. It was very quiet yesterday.

That's what I was thinking. The transfer rumours thread was very quiet until about 9pm and this was about Liam Dickinson leaving Plymouth after 1 week.

Last few days have been very quiet. I personally dont think we'll see any developments until next week.

I don't see why people put deadlines on transfers. We have til the window closes. Yes in an ideal world we will have all our signings before the season starts.
Good things come to those who wait.

If by this time next week we still aint looking nearly complete then i will become slightly concerned. Alot can happen in that time and i'm pretty sure it will.

I dont think its deadlines, I think its a feeling that we would rather get players sooner rather than later, based on the concern that all the good players are snapped up early and if you leave it too long you are left with the dregs...

Personally i'd rather we waited and got the right player than rush in and panic. I can't believe people would be happy if we signed Liam Dickinson his goals to game ratio is worse than Pericards.
Dickinson would be a desperate signing imo and if he came here i would be concerned that weren't able to attract someone better

I think Dickinson is on the radar as now we have spent a lot of our budget and we are now on a Bargain hunt.
