I assumed this was the Brazilian. Thought maybe The S. America thing got confused

I think Rose said in the Adver that another foreign striker (not the Brazilian) was due to sign. This would suggest either they're after both Bargas and the Brazilian player OR Bargas is now preferred to the Brazilian!

Just finished an article on Bargas on The Washbag with his career stats and videos, including a nasty miss against Vitesse from last season showing how bad his right foot is.

http://thewashbag.com/2011/07/07/factfile-hugo-bargas/

As for his preferred foot being his right in FM, I'll speak to our Dutch researchers and get that changed right away...

If we get him then I would assume they are still looking for one more. As we are lacking the big target man type of forward at the moment, With some of the CB in League 2 the option of a big strong unit up top would still be handy

i personally don't think we're going to sign a big target man. i think the type of football we will play wont require a target man to lump it too

Good to have options though, there will be times you want to go a different route.

I agree that the type of football we might play might not require a Target man, but always handy to have a plan B. What with how we were bullied by clubs last season I would like to see that there is the option from the bench if needed

I still think Leon knight has a lot to offer.

i'd prefer we didn't have a big unit up front. Austin + Paynter weren't the biggest and they produced some excellent goals between them. this is how i believe we should be playing.

Presumably this is some sort of joke

Paynter wasn't big in the tall or targetman sense, But he was pretty strong and he was never knocked off the ball easily

Really hope this one comes off as he looks very very good for our level. Hasn't played an awful lot of games in 3 years would be the only negative

i know we really shouldn't compare stats from FM but they have his injury proneness at 15. could this be the case he hasn't played much?

Correct Wink

I don't know much about him but from what stats I have seen, it appears that he might have struggled with the step up from Eerste Divisie to Eredivisie.
