Swindon firm struggling to decide between football violence and worshipping Christ

News that Swindon's home game against Oxford has been moved to Sunday has presented Swindon Town's hooligans with the dilemma of whether they should embark in some football related thuggery or attend church to worship our Lord Jesus Christ.

The game, which was originally scheduled for August 20th, has been moved to the Sunday after police revealed that football hooligans are less violent before 1pm on Sundays due to there well known love of Jesus.

"I'm really not sure what to do," said 28 year old Paul Barry . "Do I immerse myself in the love of Jesus or the urge to punch Oxford scum repeatedly in the face?"

It's not just hooligans that have been left disappointed by the switch, with fans of both clubs concerned how the early kick off will impact upon their drinking time.

"When it's a 3pm kick off, I tend to pace myself so that when the game starts I'm pleasantly drunk," Said one Town fan.

"If it's a 1pm kick off, I'll end up drinking much more quickly and get so pissed I'll kick the shit out of anyone after only the slightest provocation." he continued.
