Excitement grows as Town close in on players with foreign-sounding names

Following the announcement that Swindon have secured the services of Raffaele De Vita, excited Town fans are eagerly awaiting news of more players whose foreign-sounding names guarantee that they'll be shit-hot.

Paolo di Canio, whose far right political beliefs are irrelevent to the people that they're irrelevent to, has confirmed his interest in defender, Alberto Comazzi, and rumours have surfaced of interest in a player that sounds a bit Brazilian.

"I was really excited when we signed De Vita," enthused Town fan, Ralphy Clamshitt. "Nothing captures my imagination like a foreign-sounding player that I know absolutely fuck all about."

Mr Clamshitt also expressed his eagerness to see Comazzi make the move to the County Ground.

The identity of the mystery Brazilian-sounding player has not been revealed, but that's not stopped Town fans excitedly speculating about how impressive his name will be.

"If he's one of those players who just uses one name like Juninho or Ronaldo then they might aswell give us the trophy now!" said season ticket holder, Gary Madchrist.

"To be honest I'll be happy as long as his name ends in a vowel."
