Nothing to do with dogging, I just need some advice from commuters.
I'm planning leave Oxford at about 4pm to go to Canterbury on Friday, clockwise (I'm picking someone up at Cockfosters tube) round the M25. Will I get raped by the traffic?

Shiiit, roadworks from J21A-J23, and J29-J30. Potential rape.

If I could leave at 3.45pm it'd make a world of difference and I'd be there in the expected 3hrs, right?

It's normally bad from 2pm, but 3 hours should give you breathing space.

Not great either way but usually far better if you go anti clockwise and pick up somewhere on that route. Clockwise you will have the Dartford Bridge / Lakeside and all the Northeners going home to their Northern slums!

We once left at 4pm on a Friday from J6 and it took us 3 1/2 hours to get to the M4, and there was no accident. Crazy

That tunnel is a nightmare to get stuck in. Got stuck behind some dirty van nearly passed out due to lack of clean air!
