Definite Swindon legend. It goes without saying I hope his condition improves, sounds very bad.

Leigh Adams is certainly a name I recall from when I went to the speedway.

Very sad.

Not good news at all. He's been a very good servant to the Swindon Robins and although i'm not a huge speedway fan I always aware that he was a bit of a legend for the club. Always seems to win the rider of the year award every year. Hope he recovers quickly. Wish him all the best.

It's really shocking news & I wish Leigh a speedy recovery.

The huge irony is that in over 20 years riding a speedway bike he suffered no serious injuries, and this accident happens a few short months after retirement.

Best wished to Leigh & his family

This guy is the dogs fucking bollocks when it comes to Speedway. A Swindon legend on a par with the likes of Taylor and Calderwood.

Get well soon.

Sounds absolutely horrendous. Let's hope the spinal damage is something that can be fixed or will heal in time.

He was an unbelieveable speedway rider. The Robins could certainly do with him right now.
