I really don't care how girly it makes me sound... I blubbed like a baby upon hearing this news. As a Town fan born and bred in South East London, I took an absolute slaughtering daily throughout my school years. Imagine having the opportunity to rub a few noses in it when we finally got into the top flight... only for a bunch of suited Football League no-marks to turn my world upside down. I was only 13... and got hammered for months thereafter by Sedgehill School's Millwall contingent (of which they were pentiful in number).

I'm frowning about it all now as I type. Grrrrr.....

My Dad always tells me the News of the World ran a story on Swindon after we were done and it ended with the comment next week we tell you how Man Utd did the same thing..Obviously nothing was ever printed.
Does anyone remember this?

They had 7 ManU players over 2 pages full of irregular activities.  One was even the England captain and they were handed nothing !!!!!
