Coca's right, you could climb right up them back in the 60s and 70s. I remember being climbing onto a Stratton Bank pylon when I was a kid - West Ham Cup replay in the early 60s I think. The terrace was packed and all the kids were helped up to get a better view. Wouldn't happen now!

The maintanance guys at the club wont go up the floodlights. I know the bloke who has been up there to change the bulbs and he said they sways a lot with only a little bit of wind when you are up there.
