While I accept that it's needed, the mass exodus does make me nervious!
Do your thing Mr. Di Canio

cuthbert was a pile of shit without greer along side him. JFl is a good prospect who i expect to flourish next season if we get an experinced leader in alongside him. we need a centre back who is ready to come in for that job and take the armband aswell.

I'm a little nervous about next season to be honest. I just hope Di Canio has the judgement he says he has and brings in the type of players we need for a promotion push.
We desperately need 2 strikers and a good, solid and experienced centre back.
I'd also like a wide man.

Not surprised he left, am surprised he has gone to Orient. After last season that was the best offer he could get I suppose.
Disappointed myself. His form was as poor as everybody else's last season, but he had a lot of promise that first year. Oh well there is always Misun. Oh wait, no there isn't
This is pretty much how I feel. I must admit I had a feeling that we'd renegotiate a contract with him. Shame the sale of Greer clearly affected him so much. As a few others have already mentioned, I'm starting to feel a bit nervous about the number of players going out the door compared to the number coming in. I realise there's still plenty of time, but there seems to have been a fair bit of transfer activity going on elsewhere. I just hope what happens in the next couple of months doesn't leave us feeling disappointed and concerned before a ball is kicked. Def need to get someone through the door asap to settle the nerves!

Was brilliant last year but clearly was unhappy last season and the comments about the fans did him no favours really. His best mate plays(Revell) for them so he was off. No point in trying to keep players who dont want to fight for the Town. Incidently gettting rid of Revell proved costly, would have been good back up and who knows may have flourished.

Actually he did want to stay and was prepared to stay for a lot less than he was on this past season. However it was the club that decided not to offer him a contract and he found this out earlier in the week. I for one am sorry to see him go but hopefully Paolo has a few good prospects lined up

Is that more than guesswork?

No im not one to make up rumours with players. I also know that the Douglas negotiations are ongoing and no decision has been made to let him go yet. I know a lot of posters say they know this and that so believe what you want. I just don't want to see Cuthbert get made into this player that left for more money etc when that wasnt the truth
